Yogurt Cake

13 Tbsps (6 1/2 oz or 180 g) butter

1 1/4 cups (9 oz or 250 g) sugar

5 eggs

1 cup (9 oz or 250 g) yogurt

zest of 2 lemons

2 1/4 cups (10 oz or 280 g) all purpose flour

2 tsps baking powder



Preheat the oven to 350 f (180 c)
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks one at a time and then the yogurt. Add the lemon zest , shitf in the flour and baking powder and mix carefully using a spatula
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt to form stiff peaks.Fold in the egg whites
butter and Sprinkle the pan with flour and pour the batter.
Bake for 40 to 50 min.
let cool and serve
