1 cup (7 oz or 200 g) raw sugar
1 Tbsp malt extract
3/4 cups (7 oz or 200 g) sweetened plain yogurt
2 cups (9 oz or 250 g) all purpose flour
2 Tbsps baking powder
6 Tbsps (3 oz or 80 g) butter, melted
zest of 1 organic lemon
confectioner sugar for decoration
Preheat the oven to 325 f (170 c).
Beat the eggs and the raw sugar together and add the malt extract and a pinch of salt
Add the yogurt and shift the flour and baking powder.drizzle in the melted butter and stir to combine.add the lemon zest and stir gently
